TEHRAN (PIN) – Production of sweet liquefied gas in the National Iranian South Oil Co. (NISOC) went 10 thousand barrels beyond the figure targeted by the plan, touching 145 thousand barrels per day (bpd) in the Iranian month of Shahrivar (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22).

NISOC production manager added the company had also produced 1,600 barrels of sour gas a day during the period, dispatching to different units.
Ali Aghajarian said, “Of the total sweet liquefied gas, more than 128 thousand barrels were dispatched to Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex (BIPC) in Mahshahr port to supply its feedstock.”
The official explained that sour and sweet liquefied gas and light gas were produced through processing associated gases, adding, “During the mentioned one month, over 44 million cubic meters of light associated gas was produced by the company, showing a three percent rise when compared to the targeted volume.”
Some part of the produced light associated gas was delivered to the National Iranian Gas Co. (NIGC) and some part was injected into oil reserves, Aghajarian said.
